A few workshop participants’ views

"What I would like to comment on first of all is that any expectation that I did have was far exceeded and can I just say to was lovely to meet a person like yourself who not only has such a love for photography but is also a genuinely nice person. The technique around using the live view of the camera I found most useful from a technical prospective and this is something from a focus prospective that I feel will really help me in the future. Personally the style you adopted on the workshop for myself was great, I felt that you spent the right amount of time giving advise individually but also gave time to left us do our own thing and then review the results!! (I must admit some were better than others :-) Also I feel that although we had a variation of experience on the workshop the group sessions were really useful and I feel that every person within the group both understood and gained something from the sessions.Overall I really did enjoy the whole experience and I am hopefully looking forward to joining another one of your courses in the future."

Fantastic! I recently attended a weekend day course with Jason in Malham. I wanted to learn more about landscape photography and how to improve my composition. Jason was more than helpful and provided a very practical approach to this process. He found areas that were likely to make good shots and then let me get on with it followed by a review of what I had achieved. His amazing enthusiasm and passion for photography was very apparent and he really helped me to understand how the eyes are led through a photograph. Jason provided an honest critique of my technique and the various photos I had brought with me to assess. He also managed to explain some of the more technical aspects, which I've not yet got to grips with, in a way that was straight forward and could be put to immediate practical use. We had a fantastic day and some very deep and varied conversations on many subjects. I cannot recommend Jason highly enough and am in awe of many of the photos on his site. Something to aspire to. I would also like to attend one of his photoshop workshops in due course and if I can find the time another weekend course.

Highly Recommended I am currently a student at Bradford University and I have had the great pleasure of being taught by Jason. Whilst I have not been on any of his workshops, I feel I can, and indeed want to, vouch for his enthusiastic style of teaching/guidance. When you are helped by someone like Jason who obviously loves nothing more than to impart his extensive knowledge to you and to empower you to achieve the best results that you are able, this really does help you to develop to your highest potential. Having browsed his landscapeinspired.com website, he obviously is as at home with photography as he is with computer animation. I therefore can not recommend enough that if you have the opportunity and you want to learn more about landscape photography, you should do yourself a big favour and sign up for one of the workshops..

Carola: Amazing "I decided to participate in Jason's workshop in Bolton Abbey after I discovered his work on flickr and I'm happy to say that it has been an amazing experience. He has a great knowledge of landscape photograpy and a rare way to make it simple and understandable. He mixed a professional planning of the location with the spontaneous inspiration of the moment. I highly recommend LandscapeInspired to anyone who wants to learn and improve photography while enjoy the real experience of working on the field".

Landcape Inspired Highly Recommended "I recently took up the opportunity to go out with Jason Theaker and I'm so glad i did. He has great knowledge on Landscape Photography which really did inspire me. He is an excellent tutor, explaining exactly what knowledge i was lacking. You only have to look at his images in the worldwide photography magazines to see his true potential. I would highly recommend LandscapeInspired as a starting point for any budding landscape photographer who wants to improve on his own skills & techniques. "

Brilliant "I have had the great pleasure of being taught by Jason Theaker for the past 3 years and have been lucky enough to have been his lecturer's aid for one year. I can therefore confidently and whole-heartedly, vouch for the quality of his teaching and guidance capabilities. Not only does Jason have a very varied and in depth knowledge of animation and photography, with a brilliant eye for detail, but he is driven by a passion and enthusiasm, rarely seen in most people. Jason has a unique teaching style, which draws you in to empower and motivate you to another level, giving confidence and self-belief to ensure you reach your full potential. You cannot help but be inspired by his infectious enthusiasm for the subject at hand, which is taught in a way that stimulates and sparks your own imagination to improve your creativity. Therefore, I would highly recommend Jason and his workshops.

Thank you Jason, I have a wonderful canvas on my wall, and am still smiling at it every time I walk past it. Can't wait for the camera club to start up again in October to use some of the photos/ techniques learnt on the day.

Overall I thought the day went well and that it had been a most useful and enjoyable experience.

Jason is a very skilled tutor and was very helpful and informative

I was impressed by the quickness of the reply to my enquiries and the friendliness of response. I am always wary of booking  ‘the unknown’  via the internet, but you were so professional, you allayed those fears. Your website was great; you had a clear, well-structured itinerary for the day (with back-up plan), equipment list, an assessment process to find a starting point for your learners, so that you could treat everyone individually

I had a really great day & learnt so much! Thanks for making it such a good day

I was more than satisfied for me I learned more in a short time and I’m sure with more practice my photography will improve, looking forward to the next workshop

I really enjoyed the day and learned enough to move me on from where I was. It was just what I needed.

for me I come to the workshop with an open mind, my photographic experience was limited, Jason taught me to think out of the box, I learned to manual focus with confidence, work in raw, I bought filters but didn't know how to use I do now. I tried to soak up as much as possible. I learned what to look for how to make a better composition, I had tried to make the water look like milk and fog but could never manage it a short explanation from Jason put me right I was extremely pleased with the result I achieved.

I'd like to say that Jason provided a wonderful day.

Thank you so much for running such an inspirational course on Saturday. I feel much more confident with sorting out depth of field and exposure settings now. I also liked your thoughts and guidance on composition.
